As a high school student who witnessed the pre-pandemic SEA Teachers, I harbored a fervent dream of actively participating in this remarkable cultural and language exchange. The prospect of meeting new people and gaining profound insights into the diverse landscape of our education systems fueled my aspirations. This dream, initially conceived during my high school years, continued to burgeon as I pursued studies in education at the college level.

Being accepted into this program surpassed my expectations. My desire was not merely to observe but to actively engage in a firsthand exploration of the differences that bind us and the similarities that render us unique in every facet of life. Through the SEA-Teacher Exchange Program, I sought to unravel the intricacies of Thailand's educational landscape and discern the threads that connect it to my home country, the Philippines.

As I embark on this transformative journey, I anticipate discovering the profound ways in which Thailand and the Philippines, though sharing similarities, remain distinct and special in their own right. These nations, akin to both friends and family, hold the promise of enriching my understanding of cultural diversity and forging lasting connections that transcend borders.
